BARBE（バルブ）は、デザイン観点から企業ブランドの価値を高めることを目的とするクリエイティブスタジオです。 多くの人にとってデザインとは、見た目や形といった装飾をイメージしますが、デザインの本質はそこではありません。 私たちデザイナーは、素材と機能、作り手と使い手、企業と消費者、社会と環境など、身の回りにあるさまざまな関係を「繋ぐ」役割を担っています。 急速に進行するデジタルシフトの時代において、ブランドの価値も変化します。 BARBEは、そうした変化を感じとり、過去と未来を繋ぐために、思考と実践、技術と表現の研究と制作を行っています。 事業領域は、クライアントワークから自主制作、アートプロジェクト、ワークショップ、デザイン研究・開発、そして教育まで多岐にわたります。

BARBE is a creative studio that aims to enhance the value of corporate brands through a design-driven approach. For many, design brings to mind appearance or form—purely decorative aspects—but its true essence lies beyond that. Designers at BARBE take on the role of connecting the many relationships that surround us: between materials and function, makers and users, companies and consumers, and society and the environment. In an era of rapid digital transformation, the value of brands is constantly evolving. BARBE responds to these changes by researching and creating, navigating between thought and practice, technology and expression, in order to bridge the past and the future. Our work spans a wide range of fields, from client projects to independent creations, art projects, workshops, design research and development, and education.
